Founded in 2013, the Hispanic Insurance & Risk Management Association (HIRMA) was established by Dr. Carlos Rodriguez with the vision of creating a unified space for Hispanics and other culturally diverse professionals within the insurance and risk management industries to connect, collaborate, and engage. Since its founding, HIRMA has experienced substantial growth and now represents a broad and diverse community of professionals across multiple disciplines, including insurance, risk management, human resources, safety, claims, and workers’ compensation.
HIRMA is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections among individuals and organizations that may not otherwise have the opportunity to engage. Through thoughtfully curated educational programs and networking events, HIRMA provides professionals with opportunities to expand their networks, strengthen trusted professional relationships, and cultivate connections that extend beyond the workplace.
Throughout the years, HIRMA has hosted and participated in numerous events and has partnered with like-minded organizations that share its commitment to promoting diversity, awareness, and collaboration. HIRMA is deeply appreciative of the members, partners, and supporters who have contributed to building a welcoming and inclusive community focused on professional growth and long-term relationship building.
